Save the tips and sauté them to add to a veggie pasta or to a frittata.Tear the lettuce leaves into smaller pieces instead of chopping because butter lettuce is very tender and the lettuce will bruise and risk getting a bit mushy.I buy the pistachios already roasted which saves a step. They are also usually salted, so you don't need much salt.
