Anna Mackay

Anna has a Bachelors of Arts in English and History from Lafayette College, a Masters in Business from the George Washington University, and recently earned a Masters Degree in Nutrition from the University of North Dakota. She is currently working on completing the coursework required for a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is very much looking forward to earning her RDN credentials.

In 2008, shortly after having her first baby, Anna started her own personal training business which still she runs 12 years later. Anna is a Health at Every Size® advocate, believing that all bodies have value regardless of size or ability, and that a person does not have to be at a particular weight in order to be healthy. She enjoys helping people find ways to move their bodies that feel good and foster a healthy relationship with exercise.

Anna lives in Washington, D.C. with her family. She loves to cook and entertains whenever the opportunity arises. Growing up in sunny Sydney, Australia instilled a great love of sports and the outdoors so when time and weather permit, you can find her hiking, biking, running, swimming, or just playing in the woods.
